I'm trying not to spoil anything here but I have to know if this is a bug or an ending. So I started the game using English; collected all of the items and then started the fire. After that it cuts out to the house and the game just ends. Is that one of the endings or a bug ?

That's one of the endings (this is a very short game, but multiple languages make it longer...).

Google Translate's camera mode works great if you want to have fun with the languages you don't know.
